About Grade to Gate

Grade to Gate Foundation was formed in 2024 by the board of directors of the Highway 120 Chamber of Commerce as an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing and sustaining the beauty of the Highway 120 corridor from the top of Priest Grade to the west gate of Yosemite National Park.

Mission

Pursue opportunities for grants and donations and execute funded projects that maintain the peculiar nature and personality of our historic Gold Rush town, its current environment, and landscape.

The board of directors and committee members of the Grade to Gate Foundation are all local volunteers who are passionate and dedicated to this organization's mission. They give willingly of their time, energy, inspiration, and perspiration to preserve and enhance the appeal of our special gateway to one of the most beautiful places on earth.
